On March 26, 2011, a team of kids, adults, and youth from Pine Castle United Methodist Church will be leaving for a week to minister in Guatemala.
We plan to spend Saturday traveling and getting settled in. Sunday we will be participating in a church service in Guatemala and visiting a market in Antigua. Monday and Tuesday we will be building and painting cement block homes for squatters who are living along some railroad tracks in houses made of materials like tin siding and plywood. On Wednesday and Thursday, we will travel to an Indian village and spend our time playing with the kids, sharing the love of Jesus, and bringing the good news. Then, on Friday, we plan to take several of the kids living around the tracks to a water park for the day and then to Pizza Hut for dinner. We will come back on Saturday, April 2.
We look forward to seeing God do amazing things in and through us while we are in Guatemala, but we can't do it alone. Please keep our entire team in your prayers as we prepare and as we go. Thank you!
